I just went over to an estate sale and picked up a brand new box of 2 foot AC straights with European ties (24 feet) for $50 ($2.08/ft). The track still has the wax/screws stuck to the ties.
They also had new boxes of 4 and 5 foot diameter curves at comparable prices and some small LGB and Model Power stuff, including a complete Stanz passenger set. I told them if they had any of it left, to let me know and I’d make an offer on all.
They’re out there!
