  4. They have a baseball team that is worse than the Texas Rangers so I can wear my hat with pride

I am planning on being there, if possible. It is the closest one since they shut down the train show at Dalton, Ga.

Well, this is timelyl!
I’ve pitched to the kids, they are down-now to sell Mom!
It’d be a 1 day, down and back for us–the last train show we attended was in So Ga and I only had 3 kids :slight_smile:

Riverboat lunch cruise on the “Southern Belle”

Visit the Tennessee Valley Railroad Museum

Tuesday June 5th:

Civil War history buff, Road trip to Andersonville Memorial

Confederate Drummer Boy Museum

LSC Drag and Brag (Deep South Addition) Location to be determined

Wednesday June 6th - June 8th

Main Convention events

Saturday June 9th

With Confederate Raiders hot on our tails we will flee North across the safety of the Mason Dixon Line heading for Andy’s by stolen locomotive, horse or on foot…(but most likely by car). Whichever suites you.

Sunday June 10th

Run Trains at Andy’s

Monday June 11th

Pull chocks and head for home with train goodies, pictures, stories and possibly a hang-over.

NOW DON’T THAT SOUND FUN!!! WELL THEN GIT YO SELF ON DOWN TO GAWJA YALL!!!

Boomer, since you are going to Andersonville, I would highly recommend you take the short drive over to Columbus and see the Infantry Museum at Ft. Benning. Certainly worth the effort and its FREE.

Like last year I am taking a building to enter in the structures contest. I started it several years ago and lost interest. Here is what it looked like as of January.

Here is a concept of how it will look. Lots of people and details.

A few LSC members will be mixed into the crowd.

Here is Chuck Inlow and Mik Bupp as freight handlers on break.

Waiting for a train is Hollywood, Topaz, Boomer, Dan Hilyer and Bob Cope. Wonder what they are all looking at…

Is Hannibal 9 finished??? Will it be making an appearance at the 2018 NGRC??? Will Max finally get to “Push the Button”??? Will any innocent mooses be harmed???..STAY TUNED MY FRIENDS!!!

Very cool! I’ll look for it at the convention. My wife and I are making the trek from California. I see that some of us are going on the Monday riverboat cruise. I’d enjoy meeting you! Maybe I should wear an LCS badge of some sort on my shirt.

I have lost track who all said they are going but I will go ad the convention to the “Events” calendar and those that want to can announce their attendance.
