Large Scale Central

NG&SL magazine

Does anyone here subscribe to the Narrow Gauge & Short Line Gazette? Can you tell me if the March/April issue has been sent out yet, or does it come in April?

Ray – I subscribe but don’t know… I’ll look at my last issue for pub dates… I thinks its bi-monthly but I don’t remember when I got the last issue…

The last issue I got was Jan-Feb with a published march, may, july, september, November, and January…

Have not seen a new one yet…

I do…and I haven’t seen it yet…Seemed to me like the last issue came earlier than usual so mebbe thats whats got us befuddled…

I got mine in the mail yesterday.

Great, that means mine is on the way, delivered as usual by USPS express mule train which means I’ll get it about 2 weeks after eveyone else has…

Got mine today!

Lots of great stuff, as usual. I especially like the On30 PC&N layout.

Oh, good! Another reason to visit my LHS!

You need a reason?

If you saw the hobby shop...you would understand why we would need a reason. The only reason I would go there is to buy magazines. The average newbie has more large scale trains than that store has...:(

Warren .... It would be nice just to have a shop that carried some magazines..... the only thing that passes for a shop in my neck of the woods is all about RC planes and boats and cars.... in a converted bowling alley that's 90% empty!! The owner has a garden train (his wife's Circus train) in his office... but doesn't carry anything.

and back on thread …I still don’t have my NG&SL yet…

This particular hobby shop gives you 3 choices, HO, On3, or go pound sand…!! They have been known to shun large scalers.

Speaking of magazines, this is directed to any of you in the NMRA. What do you think of the new format of Scale Rails? The last two issues have been great, IMHO.

Holy Moly!

Got mine yesterday!

…thats early for me.
