NG&SL Gazette Issues

I’m selling a couple of boxes of Gazettes. The postage is stupid expensive, but other than that they’re really cheap.

Good deal even with postage. Too bad I have them already…

Like John said a good deal even with high shipping. Shipping prices should drop after the first of the year. My library of Gazoos starts in Jan 83 and runs to Nov-Dec 2025 so far.

Just my observation but railroad related books and magazines seem to be a difficult sale the last few years. I believe it’s because everybody thinks all the information they need is on line and free.
But it’s not by any means all there and a lot of the info that is, isn’t complete or totally factual.

That’s why I keep hanging on to my library of books and mags and it is surprising how often I use them for reference.

Roger all that, John and Rick.

For me, in general, the Gazette articles are not dated at all. Getting a “new” old issue that I’ve not seen is almost (50%? 60%) as good as getting a new issue. The feel of being current, with editorials and adverts and etc., is great; but there’s a crap-ton of fun in all the articles, no matter how old.

I’ve spent a lot to get my collection complete, so it’s puzzling that I can’t get rid of duplicates I’ve amassed.

I’ve tried hard, for months, to sell these. But I can’t bring myself to dumping them in the recycle bin. Just not right.

If anyone wants these for free, that’s fine. I’ll change the ebay posts to “best offer” and take what I can get, even if bupkis.

I agree 100% Rick. Outside of LSC, my best resource for information and ideas is NG&SL. I bought the DVD of all the back issues which starts at the beginning of time and goes through 2014 and I have all the issues from 2015 to current also.

If you’re planning to come to the show (west Springfield) in jan or in the spring, that youngin john the Baker might be interested if you’re donating them

Good point, Sean. I would do so; but for us, it’s the timing. Due to the basement makeover, everything’s being moved between one staging place or the other. Thus anything that is on the way out is being being quickly disposed of, one way or the other, because there’s zero storage opportunity.

I purchased the 31 issues from E-Bay, but the idiotic auto order addy is wrong.
Please continue the order to the new shipping address I requested on E-Bay and all will be fine. There is gremlins in ebay working overtime, and not elves or Blue Crew

Cliff, I just purchased the second lot. Can’t wait to check these out. Thanks for offering.
Jim

PM sent, Bruce, thanks!!

Jim, they’ll go out today, thanks so much for taking them!

Bruce, I updated my PM with more info. Thanks!!

Cliff;
I, again(!) updated my address on EBay, and reordered the books. I am sorry this has been a pain, but EBay did not update to my current address. Please ship them to my current address and not the McGuire address listed on eBay.
The new addy should be on Culton St. My house burned down in 2023 and I temporary lived on McGuire until it was rebuilt, and could moved back in April this year. It put a huge damper on model building and jacked mailing as you can see here. :frowning:

email me if you have any questions.

Oh, THAT house, what a tragedy… I recall your photos.

All is square on the label though, and I’ll getter out tomorrow or Thursday.

Thanks Bruce!
