Of course it is justified. It can be extended later.

Ditto…and hang around, we got all kinds of bad ideas…
Just wait until we start talking you into all the cool mini tools
Now Boomer, I really like that idea and building the deck for all that track should really make for a great loading/yard area.

But picture that table top in the middle of your empire as an Aqueduct! Just think three arches of stone or poured concrete a nice retaining wall in case you have a minor mishap, and think of the photo possibilities.
Great job.

Let me start by saying that I blame Bart and Bob for this.
Boomer
GOOD!
Bout’ time I stop taking the blame despite what Bart says!
Boomer, looks good…
I can hear Rooster now… You know, you can add another set of legs to the left side and widen the yard for about 3 more tracks…
Looks good, Boomer. And a lotta work.
I wish I had room like that!

Extending the spur is not an option. Please see photo below.

Boomer
That just shows you need to build a bridge to extend the spur.
That’s what I’m thinkin".
So who’s #6 switches are you using Boomer. I see what looks like a USA Trains brass switch but I don’t reconize the other ones. Looking good so far.
Chuck
Yeah, yeah what Hollywood says, you could make a really nice aqueduct. Just think all that nice concrete work you would be doing…
They will be cause your rivers are probably at 2’
Nice work, Boomer…
But, yanno, if ya moved this to here and moved that to there, then you’d have more room for a few of there, and some of those…
…grinning…
Ya what Andy said!!! Looks good.
A fine bit of work Boomer
