Large Scale Central

New World Headquarters for Western Consolidated Industries

West Virgina & Kentucky parent company WesCon Industries is moving its global headquarters to a new enlarged compound.

The new facilities provide for expanded Shop and Fabrication areas, and enhanced Communications and Control for Global operations. This is is the space designated for the WV&K NG division…

Further information as the situation develops…

Smart move, for a growing conglomerate; “Build a three holed outhouse and the business will boom”…!!! …with windows, no less…good to have a clear view of the world, while relieving one’s self…

Bart,

Hmmm that looks nice!
All fenced, too. And a few loads of fill will get you the mountains. hehehe

How much of that big field is yours, and RRable?

Looks like Bart is going to have fun next summer…!!

Lots of room and an outhouse. All he needs is a full bheer cooler and his wife won’t see him for a month…:expressionless:

Great move!!.You renting or buying?

Looking good Bart. Congrats on the move to larger quarters.

All of it......Recall all that mowing I did on Fridays during the summer? THATS what I was mowing......The trick will be to exercise restraint and not build something that takes all summer to maintain!

Inheriting basically....just a little early......that 'Outhouse' is going to be torn down, its not fit for much and the current Shop building will go back there somewhere......I'm really needing to think out a trackplan at this point to figger out EXACTLY where.......

Kind of looks like you could have terminals in buildings and outside running from building to building. Looks interesting.

Ya know Ric…you could be onto something there…Do something sorta like how you have at Consolidated…theres a QUICK way to Old state Light thats not there operationally…and theres the Mainline…

I had considered haveing a railroad that stops in the middle…IE having something Akin to Orbinsona in the middle on a peninsula…and has a wye at the end that sends trains both North and South…Hmmmmmmmmm

Wow, lots of room for a layout there! Congrats.

And whereabouts is this new placed located in regards to the previoius headquarters?

Bart, looks like you have a little room to lay out a few feet of track there… Congrats on the move and the room…

And, you must remember, the only way from Consolidated to Old State Light, is via the mainline, no cutting thru… I hear the yardmaster there is mean…

I can’t help but look at these old farm homesteads around here that have sometimes as many as 7 to 10 outbuildings (everything from berthing sheds to dairy parlors, plus garages, feed bins and old corn cribs) and think about having industries or storage yards in the buildings and then trackage running between them. Would certainly be secure from weather and such, while accessible and versatile.

Bout a Mile away....if that......Turn left at the Fire Station and go up about a block....if ya get to the Cemetary....ya just passed it....

and I see a suitable loft in the main building for continuing the saga of the 0n30 stuff…

Hi Bart:

Glad for you guys, you needed a bigger place for awhile.

Did you get the snow? We’ve had some for 2 days.

Have Fun: Jeff
