I’m glad to see they are expanding their track with bigger curves and switches. I have some of their R3-R5 curved switches coming in this next week for my new indoor layout. I especially like their price compared to LGB stuff.

Hey Chris,
Make sure you keep us informed. I have 4 of them beinging delivered next Tuesday. They will form 2 differnt passing sidings on my new indoor layout I’m building. I still have some insulation to install and a little sheeting and then I can start building the bench work. The layout will be 14’ x 28’ with 8’ dia curves with lots of switching. The main theme will be logging in North Idaho where I live.

Hi Guys:
Page seven of eight has something exciting:

LGB style combine and passenger cars.
Why did PIKO copy the incorrect roof celestory window placement?
A short 8 window car should mean 8 roof windows.
I guess PIKO wanted to produce combine and coaches which will fit in with the old LGB style combine and coaches assuming that Europeans have no idea what the prototype cars look like.
It will be interesting to see pricing on these and if PIKO gets the correct shade of yellow.

Norman,
PIKO is a toy manufacturer. Approximations are close enough since they sell whatever they produce to the “G-scaler”. Most of them are perfectly happy with “it looks kind of like a …”
Interesting that they will offer a new 2-6-0 narrow gauge version, at least it looks a little closer to a narrow gauge type engine.
I’m sure “What’s his name” at PIKO - America comes up with enough suggestions to fill “the void”.
