I saw it too, although I couldn’t get the pic to open on the USA site…I googled it…cute, I have never seen or maybe never noticed it?

Boy, That sure looks like even the same people. If its USA, its probably 1/29th. Somebody is just going to have to measure it somewhere. Maybe it could compared to the K line by wheel size in comparison to people size? Sorry for doubting you John.
No problemo, Ric.
It will prolly come to a dead stop on plastic frogs anyway. It will need a trailer just for a couple of little batteries.
When I was growing up in the small town of Rosalia, Wa, my dad was the station Master there for the NP.
I got to ride in those things all the time. It brings back memories. I’ll have to get one or two of them just for ol time sakes.
Jon Radder powered one of the K line with a 9 volt battery turned upside down on the backof the cab. Looked like a fuel tank.
Hmm… looks pretty similar:

Probably why it came out so fast and quietly. They must have bought the rights to it and took the cab and kept that and tweeked (I hope) the chassis and repackaged it as a USAT speeder.
Look at the “chassis” on the K line… “fenders” over wheels, foot step, floor of cab… now change the K-line black to silver, then look at the USAT… sure looks the same…
I’d bet it is just a repackage…
Regards, Greg
You guys are prolly right.
I thought it might be an all new product.
jb
Well, they DID present it as a new product, but new to USAT, not to everybody!
Regards, Greg
I also think it is the same casting used by K-Line, even to the two crew who appear to be twins, I have a K-Line unit, runs great, but tiny, scale about 1:32, would not look to out of place with 1:29, but, I run 1:20.3 so it does look out of place. Still, fact is it is cute.
