Price Increase Notification

Due to steady increases in materials and operating costs, it has become inevitable that Kadee Quality Products Co. must generally increase prices on all products. Thank you for supporting our Made in USA company.

These price increase will allow Kadee Quality Products Co. to continue to offer the highest quality model train products made right here in the USA. As always, Kadee Quality Products Co. is committed to providing superior products. We very much appreciate your business and continued support.

Looks like it’s time to go back to Link and Pin couplers, there easy to make and just about never come undone. Well, I realize no one would do this and cost is always rising, so Kadee should get their increase in cost just like everyone else. Since I model in mostly LGB I started out some 30-40 years ago with LGB Knuckle Couplers way before the days of Kadee large scale couplers. LGB back then were $5.00 a pair, today somewhere around $15-$18 per pair, I purchase some 30 pair back when they were cheap, today I have some 50 plus engines and rolling stock all with LGB Couplers. I deal with the oversize of these couplers and have considered changing all out for Kadee’s, but just haven’t pulled the trigger as of yet and probably won’t. I guess this old guy will stick with those dinosaur couplers for now.

Get them now for $9.00 a pair, so while they didn’t say what the new price is it’s not enough to break the bank or worry about . Everyone has to make a profit and I will continue to buy them.
