The C.J.M. will have some new units working this year . The fleet of GP 38-2’s and other 4 axle units are starting to show their age . They have many hours and miles on them and are in need of overhaul again . So the railroad has purchased some second hand modern power to suppliment the fleet .Two SD 70macs will be roaming the rails this year. One is a ex BNSF unit and the other from CN. Pictured here is the #302 , a ex BNSF unit still unpainted into CJM colors and still carrying the original BNSF number on the front and back… Two more units will be joining them later this summer. They are Dash9 44 cw’s . One will be painted the “normal” CJM colors and the other will feature a newer paint sceme.
