The “New Posts” option doesn’t seem to take me to the first post that I haven’t read.
I find myself scrolling backwards to have to read the unread posts.
Is there any way to get this to work correctly?
Theres always been a problem when the new posts extend over two pages…
I have problems with single page posts.
In fact, I just checked a couple of forums that had multiple posts since early this morning and I had to scroll back for all of them. Well, except for the ones with only one post.
Yea, there are a few issues going on, I think I need to fix the “read” code.
First, it tracks EVERY post you’ve read, not just the last date you read the thread. That needs to change. Also, since the individual posts are what are ‘unread’, the ‘what I’ve read’ flag sometimes gets confused, sometimes not. If often ‘picks’ the LAST message in a thread, not the unread one. Not sure why thats happening.
But, yea, it needs a big rooter-routering.
