I had my web guy put on a MTH page I wrote up about my locomotives. Many of you know this, but thought others may not.
Jerry link does not work
Works here, too!
Wow, your privacy policy is more complex than that of this site!
I had not read that before Greg, down underneath there at the bottom on the privacy policy. Still have not read it all! (http://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-embarassed.gif)
Works here also. Nice . Thanks for the info. Later RJD
I like your MTH collection. I have the GG1 and a five car Pennsy Congressional passenger set. I would like a Big Boy, but I have other projects to throw money into right now.
Thought it would give out some info to people who don’t know much about them. Which used to include me!
Very interesting info. One suggestion: The background image makes the text a bit difficult to read. I’d recommend changing the background to just a solid color without the image. Alternately, changing the text to black might help.
Ray Manley has a great web site for MTH trains. Full of information about the trains, the DCS system, upgrades and modifications. Lots of videos and pictures also. He is a authorized dealer and repair person. He’s helped me a LOT and is very patient when you are having a problem. Info on new releases and new MTH products for sale. You can pre-order the new offerings, including the 4014 Big Boy.
NOTICE: I have no link with Ray, other than he helping me out, so I am not getting paid for this, just like to share.
Jerry, according to the MTH site, the dash 8 that was available July this year had the Protosound 3.0 system.
Do you know if only the stuff delivered in 2015 and newer has this?
Someone made kind of a blanket statement about all G scale MTH has PS 3.0 and I don’t think that is true.
Thanks, Greg
All the 2015 1 Gauge MTH have the 3.0 system. Guess it is compatible with DCC but not sure have to ask Ray. Guess so, from this:

Works here Jerry.
