Large Scale Central

New Member in Idaho

I’ve been poking around here for a year, I guess I should introduce myself. SW Idaho, mainly post on Facebook, but looking for locals elsewhere also.

Lots of large scale projects, planning a quick ‘emergency model railroad’ in the garage because the basement of our new-old house needs more work before I can do anything with trains down there.

I picked these locos up at a good price because they had issues, working now but no large radius track to run them on…

Just saw this post, welcome aboard again!

Sounds like your layout will indoors. Regardless, we’ll look forward to seeing it get underway.

Welcome aboard. Lots of great folks here. Love the cat. Reminds me of Mr. Paws.

Yeah, definitely some resemblance there. Coincidently, Mr Paws looks exactly like a cat I had growing up, Sebastian

I made a series of short videos I will share this weekend when I have a moment. It started out as O scale but I am pursuing large scale these last few months so have ‘upgraded’ it.

Get ahold of Kelly Stansell on FB, he’s part of a Boise based club, he lives in Meridian. Matter of fact, I just was chatting with a fellow named Patrick outside of Caldwell that has locos and no track down yet. Here’s his loco.

Russell,

Welcome to the site! Rather a crazy bunch on here, but good friends, helpful information, and really amazing builds can be found within the sections of this forum. We look forward to seeing your railroad’s progress.
