I recently purchased a used Regner Vincent from a friend, it “Needed” a new flywheel which just happened to be residing in my parts bin. I had made it as practice when I first got my CNC Mill. The train is made up of “quicky” tipper cars I made over the summer.

Great concept, very convincing setting, that little locomotive is awesome, and, really, you are a craftsman (but of course we already knew that from watching your various projects). I like the bumpy trackwork in parts of the video, just like I imagine the real thing would be!

Yep, it is work weekend at the WW&F this weekend. We will be restoring the track into the shop, adding môre at the end of the line, setting up to assemble a bridge, i will probably be in the shop working on the machine to form boiler parts. All are welcome!
Nice video. That Vincent sure has a unique sound. I get the cylinder exhaust, fast paced repeating, but there is another much deeper sound that repeats much less often. Sounds like a single chuff. What is that second sound?
Im a big fan of the Regner Easy Line engines. You can always tell its a Regner by the sound. I love how you can make anything work and look great on your line.
John the chuff you mentioned is actually from the burner. Mine will make the same sound when the gas is turned down real low. I think its just the burner puffing.
Yep that is the burner surging…not quite sure why it does that but it works fine like that withthe burner turned al but off for slower running. It sounds like somthing a full scale engine might do

Another great video Eric, Well done. My Vincent is one of my favorites. love how they run slow and steady on inclines and declines. Hope to see a lot more of your Vincent.
