So anyone know what this is? I bought the “original” 42260 from a fellow forum member a few months back…I don’t know why but I like these. I have been away from LGB for some time and have no idea what’s new…I assume this is a newer offering? It’s made in “Germany”. An internet search comes up with next to nothing. So is it new? Cheap? Common (Honestly have not seen one before)? All I know is this one’s mine and I likely spent too much for it. LGB #44353 .

All that doesn’t matter. What matters is YOU like it!
Oh I like it…Just trying to put a manufacturing time-frame on it.
Looked at past sales on ebay…I paid about 10 bucks over the going rate. They do not appear to come up very often.
Well the date printed on the car says 1948 - 1995, I would take the car was made around 1995.
augsburger puppenkiste is a well known pupeteer show theater in germany.
so it is similar to cars that got coca cola advertisement on it.
but i would not think that there are thousands of it around.
I swear I never saw one of these until I bought this one…Now there are 3 on ebay.
There was another version with a brakeman’s shack on the rear, as well.
Yep, got that one!
There is an 0-4-0 Stainz as well…Not sure if I want it or not. I may be burned at the stake for saying this…Not a big fan of the Stainz.

Thats only a sin on the G Scale Central forum
Looks like 1995 to me! Don’t agonize over what you paid for it - in a few years it’ll be worth more’n that anyway. And if ever you want to get top euro, maybe try selling it on Ebay in Germany.
