Large Scale Central

New guy on the block

Hi friends
Just wanted to say hi from sunny Southern California. I model in Fn3 D&RGW motive power roster is rather small but gets the job done. A Accucraft K-36 #488 does the bulk of the work along with an Accucraft Goose #7 and Bachmann Goose #1. Operation is by Airwire and sound by Phoenix. I was part of the Narrow Gauge Convention layout tour and if some of you stopped by we enjoyed your visit. I will post photo’s when I figure out how its done.

Greeting from one of the inmates. Hope you enjoy your time here. Me, I am doing On30 but this is like home away from home.

Hi Bob!

You just have to post the URL of the picture.

No HTML tags are required.

jpg images will work, but bmp diagrams or images do not.

Thank you.

Welcome aboard!

Welcome to this great board, Bob

You have come to the right place. There is a lot of us that model in 20.3 here.

One thing I have found is Scale Art Models. My Chama depot is built to 1:20.3 and I see many detail parts on that site better than what I have on my depot so some upgrading is in its future.

Welcome to LSC Bob

Welcome. Nice layout.

Welcome to the madness!!!

Welcome, Bob. Great bunch of guys here, A couple of ol’soreheads, yah we got’em, you’ll figure them out soon enough.

I grew up in Ontario/Upland in the 60’s. Now reside at the end of the Farmington Branch. I crew on the D&RGW 315. And run 1:20.3.

Any thing I can do to help, just give a shout out

Dave

And let me add my welcome also. Hopefully your experiences with these nuts will be as helpful as mine has been!..

Welcome aboard Bob this is indeed a great site to belong to.
