Come to think of it, ive never ordered anything from Canada. Is there any extra shipping charges to get products into USA ?
I wish his darn email would work for me, if anyone gets it can you post it please. All i get is some dumb Yahoo crappola.
I would think not, unless the USPS charges something when it gets Stateside. One thing to watch for is if US Customs charge duty on hobby supplies imported. In Canada Ca Customs do not charge any duty on hobby supplies imported from the US.
No John, that came back as a bad address but thanks for trying.
Nick I have to say I like the wide cab kit. It makes up for Accucraft dropping the SD-60, plus its a hellova lot cheaper.
“…unless the USPS charges something when it gets Stateside…”
Plus northbound to Canada we don’t use couriers because they tend to surcharge !
Postal service tends to be reliable and no unforeseen charges. Although Canada customs under the quise of collecting for CanadaPost charges gst and a handling charge ($8cdn) per order. I’m in the middle of contesting a extra charge on a recent purchase (2 packages) from a usvendor just because canadacustoms says they collect for cpo contact cpo; the cpo (int. claims) rep says claim for full refund; customs refund dept now says no way half; so classic bureaucratic chickens with heads cut-off or up their … !
Southbound to usa you should chk the USPS website and call their customer service for their interpretation. But ya may not wish to (accidentally) give them your name 'cause you maybe put on a blacklist for considering to purchase non-(us)american ! Use a payphone
BTW Thanks Nick for the tip on this custom parts source !! If the email addy seems broke there is a ph number at the bottom of their webpages, even if just to let them know their email is broke or unresponsive to your ISP ?? Interim I’ll try with mine . . .

FYI;
I did a copy/paste of their email addy into my (hotmail) email … it worked fine As i found the following waiting in my inbox ,
“…Hello Doug, Well I am glad word is getting out, It has taken me a good couple of years to break into the G scale market. AS far as I know I have no problems with my mail through my isp, and I was talking to them earlier and they said the mail servers were fine. We are planning more G items in the future and we are taking suggestions as well. Thanks Anthony Prototype Model Industries …”
In response to my same day query; “…Dear Sir; You seem to be acquiring some international publicity, http://www.largescalecentral.com/LSCForums/viewtopic.php?pid=168743#p168743
BUT also for some reason at least one can’t get thru to you via your email addy ! I’ll look into your wide cab offerings in the near future. Thanks for your time, Doug C…”
Soooo if any of ya experience problems with your attempts, your isp is censoring ya !! imho
