I would blam him, but shooting roosters out of season is a felony.
roosters are never out of season… if they were, KFC woud have to close for a few months a year…
You guys rule!
Why waste bullets? Grab em by the neck, quick twist and they start doing their last dance.
Dave, thanks for the saw idea, I have one also, will try to whip up one of those. Make it more versatile, that is for sure.
Jerry, you’re more than welcome, as I know I’ve gotten a few tips from you.

That’s what I always saw.
Started a second batch of cars recently so I figured I’d update the post. A couple years back I purchased 5 sets of boxcar ends and doors. Don’t know whose they are but they scale out ok for my needs. While surfing the net I came across a 60’ double door box car that will fit in my era. The only problem was the ends I had were too short for the car. Close examination showed I could gain the needed height by using two ends to make one end.Doors also had to be made for this car.
The car
Doors ready to be placed
Roof in place Next up were 3 more box cars that will use the remaining end panels, and because I still had over half of two ends from the above car I decided another gondola was in order.
These I’ve just finished gluing together Once I’ve finished the roof details on the 3 box cars and put the side pieces on the gondola, I’ll start on the grabs and ladders and steps for all the cars
All ready for SOO decals?
looking good, Hollywood…
Go Hollywood !!
Are they done yet?
Hollywood,
Nice cars. You and Rooster need to go take some pictures of the Ringling Brothers train when it hits Hershey.
Just an idea for your next build
Ralph
Thanks for the comments all.
Ralph I’ve got pics of the red train in Balto. from years back but they’re prints so I can’t post them
cut the prints into circles, and slide them in your dvd drive, then copy them… hehehe
