New cribbing

I had a small section of my line that needed some erosion control. With some recent rains and snows the balast was starting to wash away some. This a project of have been wanting to do for some time but had other things to get done on the layout. I could have used some rock. Would have been the easy way out but I decided that to get more detail I would build some cribbing. I just finshed it today and planted some moss around and ontop. Looks prety good.

I also finally blocked off power to my siding. Now I can control the electric with the flick of a switch. This siding just goes out to the mine [IMG]

Nice! I like cribbing and short walls. Good for a view separator, or just some neat scenery.

Nice effect Shawn I think the cribbing helps blend the road into the landscape

Looks good. I bet the wife thinks you’re really nuts now!

She does, but I keep telling her that it is better then hanging out at the bars. everytime I take the swifter to the tracks to clean them she shakes her head and she says I can do the house floors next.

Nice.
I have lots of places that need cribbing as well.
Next spring.
That’s why you always keep your bridge scraps…

Nice work… Looks great…

it will look real good when the moss grabs hold and spreads!
Nice job!

That really looks great!
