I don’t think I’ve gotten the hang of it yet…
Yes you do John that’s perfit.
Richard
I’ve been to that church.
Same thing happens every time I darken the door of a church.
Ive been looking for a 7" miter saw. Where did you find yours? Then I can build that church, too.

Here’s where I found the best prices and all, ebay ebay ebay. Yikes. The Ryobi saw was $89.99 plus tax at Lowe’s or…
so I went with ebay of course.
The other one was a Craftsman:

for $50, but I decided on the Ryobi.
Both are refurbished, but, frankly, I’m not a professional woodworker using the tools forty hours a week, so wear and tear or warranties don’t make a damn bit of difference to me.
The blade I got brand new, DeWalt, 140-tooth, again on ebay, for like $10:
Hope that saves you some time looking around.
One note on the church…I’m not into making fun of people, but the friend who sent me this picture told me that on the site where he found the picture people were writing in wanting to know where they could go to see such an unusual building.
Seriously??? Seriously. Oh my.

John, maybe this should be next year’s Build Challenge?!
p.s…by the way, John…your weathering of that yellow ventilated box car, and a lot of your other work too, like the Sweetwater caboose, is just brilliant, really great stuff.
Thanks for the compliment and thanks for the leads. In my stupidity, I didn’t even know they made a 7.25" miter saw. I want a small one with a fine blade for my “building structures” tools.
