A used BN GP-30 #2223 has arrived on the property to join sister BN #2225 which is already in service. I have to do a number of minor alterations before she goes out on the road. I am using artistic license, basing the cosmetic alterations loosely on BN GP30 #2232, which I photographed in Essex Montana in 1988. So far I have the traction tires and sliders removed, and started moving the horn to the rear and have the Kadee’s in place and pilot coupler gaps filled.

Nice to see you are doing something during the week. I have a concept that I need brief you on relative to a small turn around table on both ends of the El Patron run for the passenger steam loco. Similar to SF cable car turn tables. Only has to fit 0-4-0 LGB #2 but on both ends. Extracted the sound card from the boxcar. Going to integrte into “blue” combo car. Trucks need help on that one bad plus steel wheels for power source.
I think we can fit a turntable into the mix. I dug out that Aristo GP-40 last time, the gear ratio is way off compared to all the USA Trains Loco’s but she runs pretty good.
