Her she is. My new addition to my railroad. Got to pick it up today.
It has a BBT drive and Dave Goodson put it all togather for me. Cant thank him enought and am looking forward to running it and using it at Ric’s ops meeting on the 2nd.

Geoff… In a way, it looks just like you… congrats…
See you there!
I guess since she’s lettered for the Tweetsie, she’s perfectly correct. But those Master Mechanic front ends make the poor things look ungainly at best. (Like an otherwise pretty girl with a Goth getup and pierced everything)
I assume it’s battery powered?
if so, You’ll love it!
gonna buy me a 2-8-0 Barry Drive one day and build me a what if Connie (kinda like ET&WNC #8)

Got a BBT 2-8-0 chassis here, and by this time next year it will be EBT #3. Runs very smoothly (on blocks). I did take the liberty of replacing the center two drivers with turned-down flanged drivers from my scrap box. I just couldn’t deal with how far the B’mann blind drivers sat above the rail.

So if I read this right, the BBT 2-8-0 has blind drivers that ride above the rail?
Tell me it’s not so!
John,
The BBT 2-8-0 does have blind drivers which do not touch the rails, not as badly as the 4-6-0.
When I first brought out the 2-8-0 I was begged to have the wheels touch the rails. I order the Blind driver to touch the rail. Shipped a good number of them and started to get phone calls about the locos derailing.
It seems if there is track work which forms a point (where two rails meet), the first driver is up off of the rail and searching for a way to go. This seems to happen a lot more than I suspected. Had the customers send the units back to me, reduced the size of the blind drivers and made note of the lesson.
The Bachmann Connie 2-8-0 has blind drivers which do touch the rails, but all axles are suspended, the first axle is never looking for a place to go. This is why I really love the Connie.
