Thanks Al, seems like a pretty healthy list. Glad to see Star there, and pleasantly surprised that Train Li will be also, they have a long haul from Nevada.
I dug through my plastic stash today. A lot of small and random shape pieces went in the dumpster. I held out a huge pile to bring. This stuff has been stored for 10 years so it’s pretty dirty. If you plan to take any I suggest wearing gloves and maybe even a mask.
I’m bringing this pile that includes PVC Board in 5 thicknesses 3mm, 6mm, 12mm, 19mm and one small 25mm. There are also several pieces of 3/16" acrylic, lots of styrene and coroplast…
To anyone and everyone going to the show,
I have some things I am going to bring that I am looking to get rid of; free to a good home. I’ll have a small box of bits (plastic wheels, a figure or two, some odds and ends) that anyone is welcome to look through.
I also have an HO-scale engine: Bachmann GP38-2 #3848 New England Central in like-new condition. Box is worn, but I’ve only run the engine maybe 3 times. All original packaging included. I’m asking $60 for it but open to haggling.
I will be with NHGRS most of the weekend (won’t be there until 10 on Saturday). I am sure I’ll be wearing my white General Mills ball cap. I do hope to at least visit the LSC table, but, time tends to run away from me. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if I should put something aside for you!
Will you be at the hotel Friday night? I could lighten your load then.
Will you be at the hotel Friday afternoon before Lou gets there?
I will be at the BLC on Friday to help Bob set up and see some folks. We haven’t set a time yet. Maybe we should have a lottery?
At the hotel after dinner Friday.
I’m planning on getting to the show site on Friday sometime between 1 and 2 to get the booth set up. Still finalizing what I’m gonna bring. At least some hopper bits, and cars, and probably the passenger shelter. Maybe the parlor car again.
My car is mostly packed with track and plastic. Not sure what I’ll bring to show - maybe this year’s MIK build. See ya around 1 on Friday
Right now i am trying to finish the barnhart log loader, will bring my flanger, maybe a couple of other things.
Al P.

Anything for the table will be welcome!

Will need map and compass to find the table.
IMPORTANT BULLETIN*************
My wife found a restaurant in the Shopping Center next to the hotel called “99 Something” that has prime rib special on Friday and Saturday.
We return you to your regularly scheduled drivel.
Yea, there’s a bunch of restaurants right there. We’ve traditionally done Longhorn the last couple years. I’ve also gone to Cal’s Wood Fired across the street, but its REALLY busy and pricey. But I managed to sneak in and sit at the bar.
Sneak Peek.
I believe this is now done. what you are looking at is a kit I designed and built the first proof of principle model of a Barnhart Log loader in 1:20 with log cars to be displayed at the show. the cab swivels as the chains move over various pulleys. come out and see it in person. it is huge. and i do not think it stands a chance thru my tunnel. contact Iron Creek Shops for info on the kit.

that is made from a kit?? - wow!
Korm,
do not have details on its release yet, but Don plans to have some available for this years narrow gauge convention. all castings are from 3d printed masters, boiler and water tanks are 3d printed parts. over a year and a half or more for design and development for this pilot model.
