It’s on
Great looking stuff! Sure wish I could be there to see it in person!
Nancy Noris payed a visit to the group
I recognize Sean McGillicuddy standing in the all black,
And Bob McCown (BD) next to John Radder in the white shirt both behind the table,
But who is this behind the sign ?
I’m sure some would like to know
And thank you BD and Sean for the early pics
Looks like Al to me!
Al Pomeroy … Small group so far
Would you believe one of those is out here undergoing restoration?
Great that Nancy came, I didn’t know she was working on that. There’s one in the NV St RR Museum, so I should get the book and learn about them. Did she write it?
Sean,
Did Nancy mention the best way to keep roots from getting out of the pot? I am about to try weed mat with the bonsai trees, but I’m wondering about geotextile…
EDIT: I should have prefaced that I’m leaving my trees in two pots and placing the trees in the ground. The second pot is a placeholder, so dirt doesn’t cave in the hole when I pull the trees out to trim them.
I’m still pondering the implications of me not paying attention to the punctuation in this thread’s title… . I recon it will all make sense by tomorrow.
Nancy put on a great class, I knew nothing about trimming trees, I will be attempting that, now to find some unsuspecting tress.
Great idea putting them in a pot in a pot, I will use that.
We got a bunch of track from Charles Ro Saturday going back today for more after I did some figuring last night, well actually more like guessing.
Wife and I are having loads of fun seeing it all, and the great layouts that are at the show.
Anyone see the 737 Boeing flat cars from Oley Valley? They posted teaser pics on Facebook during the week and I was pretty sure that was the announcement (which it was). But I haven’t had too many detail pictures yet.
I saw one…Sorry no pics
BTW: The total attendance was 2750 (up from 1300) and Jon says he’s booked the Better Living Center (123,000sf) for next year. 2 more clubs with modular layouts will be added.
