Large Scale Central

Nelson's Repeating Arms / 2014 LSC Challenge Build Log

Not a bad looking build, very rustic, keep the pics coming.

I really like the rustic look.

With that color of gray, even thou it’s primer, thats probably the only combo that the ugly colored door looks like it was painted to match, with out really painting it.

Progressing very well Cale. Nice to see someone else building to survive what Mother Nature throws at it.

I like the deck too. I am trying to figure out how to do one for my creation. Getting good ideas here.

Tom

Had some metal scrap left over from a siding job many years ago, I’ve been preserving for a need just like this…turned out O-K, but not stellar…

Very nice roof and enjoy your decking. Good job!!

Doc Tom

I like the colors…

That’s a great looking build

Nice work Cale, good choice on the colors.

I like it!

Looks good Cale. Cant wait to see it out on your layout

Trying to refrain from commenting on the builds in the challenge till it’s over but I agree it looks great. Love the use of the chain saw on this build!

Shut up Rooster

I agree on the choice of paints, very natural, and the painting/weathering is really well done. It’s looking very realistic.

edited out a non-relevant question…

Very nicely done, Cale… Looks just like it’s supposed to… Old and antique… Well done…

That looks cool Cale.

Some light weathering, a ramp for the loading dock, some foundational work and a few other little things…it was a good snow day!

place holder

Is that the address or Est. 1776?

I couldn’t have a ceiling like that in my man shed without fluting and battery boxes hangin off it.

Nice job Cale The style of the building, the colours really came together. Cool
