Need to find a good on-line general hobby shop. Recommendations

Hi, all

My town no longer has a hobby store, and I need to renew my stock of adhesives, decal fluids, lubricants, etc. Can anyone recommend a good on-line source for “little stuff” like this? Preferably one with attractive prices and shipping fees, of course.

Thanks for any help you can offer.

Steve

P.S. I know about (and order from) MicroMark already.

I really like Hobbylinc - http://www.hobbylinc.com/index.htm

Pretty quick shipping and discounts.

I second Hobbylink…I’ve had very good luck with them. They list what is in stock and the selection is pretty good.

I also compare Micro-Mark and Tower Hobbies (plastics and models).

Edit: I should add…I only use the above for general hobby/model kit purchases, not “big ticket” items like engines or rolling stock!

Bruce, Mark…Thanks. I didn’t know about Hobbylinc. I’ll give them a try.

Nicholas Smith Trains? They have other stuff downstairs…

I know it stinks! The other day I was thinking about going up to Billings to get some supplies, but after I figured my time and gas expense, it would be cheaper to order online. What’s really frustrating is when you need just 1 or 2 items. I need some .030" sheet styrene for my project and after looking through my drawer I have almost every thickness except .030". Walked up to the MSU bookstore (they sell some wood & styrene), and they want $1.60 for a single piece of .030" styrene that’s smaller then the standard Evergreen size (~$4, but you get 3-4 sheets depending on thickness).
Mr Choo Choo? moved to Belgrade, but they never stocked any scratch building supplies (and their stock was pretty thin anyway)!
