Need some help with HLW order

I ordered the HLW woody pick-up with the trailer package from wholesale trains. (everyone Knows their reputation) For the most part they are great when the product is in stock but if it is not, it can take months before you get it. This drives me crazy. Anyway I tried finding other sources and cant find anyone else comparable in price. Wholesale has the woody for $116 and change and the trailer 38 and change. Everyone else seems to be much higher although I cant find many dealers out their. I called wholesale and had them check on statuse and they could not even give a hint as when it can come in. They seem to blame hartland for the back-up) Does anyone know of any other good places i might have luck. Thanks this is the one im looking at (its suppose to be my new sons first train not that he knows the difference yet LOL),

Shawn,
You may want to call HLW to see if they have them in stock. It may be that they don’t have them. If that is the case it could be a long wait until you get one. Large scale items are not produced on a regular basis and it can sometimes be years in between runs.

Hmm…If I had it out of stock, I’d sell it for $59. :wink:

Have you looked at St Aubins? $13 more, but they indicate they have it.

Ijust called them and they are also out of stock. Looks like HLW Co. is the bach-up Thanks anyway

I just spoke with Becky from HLW and she said that they have it in stock and that they got the wholesale trains order for them a few days ago. She said it should be out of their factory shortly. I tell ya, what great service from HLW. Thats why Im sticking with their products cant beat the quaility, service and price. Hopefuly I will see it soon.

Don’t know if still in business but he was on ebay about a little over a year ago but that’s his email to check. Before you do anything check him out would be worth your time if still if business. Well got a package today in the mail from Lanze (Wholesales) It was the woody with the trailer. Strange how I call, they say they have none in stock and not sure when they will get them in. Three days later I get it. Pays to call and complaine sometimes. Thanks everyone for your help.
