After all these years, I have decided to convert my two 2 Truck Shays to DCC. Have been to George Schreyers website and know what needs to be done. This is not going to be easy but will be done.
I wonder if anyone has any of the Contacts needed to convert the trucks to DCC? I have looked at the Bachmann website and they do not show up.
My trucks are the 6 screw plastic, I believe these are the Version 2 trucks on both.
Anyone have any?

Have you looked at getting the replacement metal trucks. That’s what I did for converting to RC. The replacement trucks are easier to separate the track from motor.
That and the metal trucks shouldn’t fall apart like the plastic trucks can, and have for me.
Well got a set of contacts from TOC for 1 Shay, still looking for another set for Shay #2.
The trucks on the 2 shays look fine and have seen a lot of use outside in the Texas summer, still working and will use them till they have a problem. Both have not been used for the last 4-5 years, sitting on display only, now going back into service.

Yes, that would work, but it is hard to hide the electronics using logging cars.
