I'm going to have to update that loco pic. Rooster's latest wild-eye photo would match Andy better.
Like Father, like son.

Good grief!!

Oh bloody hell…
Shawn, With or without air? If with, engine brakes only, or train brakes too? Cup, hydrostatic or forced lubrication?

These are a Porter mogul from the masterclass on the other site, should be enough to get you started

fantastic, Jon

I’m on the right so it’s my train??? Correct?

You are the engineer. The conductor is the boss, and it’s his train.

Its like looking at a thomas horror episode.

Thanks Mik Im going without the air brakes.

DAMN!

Shawn, there are several pics of the loco on this site.

The Jupiter has about as much external piping. Very sparse on all of them, including the Eastwick and Harrison oddball.

Feedwater lines on both sides of boiler, blower line on left (fireman) side, and sand lines are about it on the boiler, then.

Pre air would also most likely have the lubricator cups on the cylinders as well.

Cab piping would be simple too. An injector on each side, a blower valve (again on the left), and a single gauge. A pretty easy, 1 afternoon project

I was thinking the same thing. He actually makes this look good and it was “a rough year for the rooster”.

Sorry to hear you’re under the weather Terry. Hope things soon improve.

This thread was doomed from page one. If you want to get serious, start a new one.
