Need Help! G Scale Loco Bumper Dimensions

Hello to all, I was trying to find the height of the bumpers of G scale locos and find your site. I’ll be very happy if someone can tell me the dimensions on the below picture. “A” is between the centers of the bumpers and “B” is between the center of the bumper and top of the track.

Thanks in advance. Harun

Harun,

Welcome to the forum.

The dimensions depend upon the scale and equipment you are running. If you are running Gauge 1 (3/8 or 1 to 32) a good place to start are the MOROP and G1MRA Norms:

http://www.gaugeone.org/Misc/Standards%20sheet%20part%202%20not%20inc%20wheels.pdf

Just let us know which scale and equipment you want to run, and forum members should be able to give you measurements.

Regards,
Ken

On LGB’s “G”

A= 68.6mm

B=37mm

Thanks for replies. I was looking for “G” scale 1:22.5 and I think Hans’ reply will help. The one I designed was 45 mm (B) and was too high. Some photos of what I did is below. But I am modifying the hight to 37 mm.
