A bunch of us have had a blast volunteering with the NC Arboretum to build a 25’ x 75’ garden RR layout to coincide with their Winter Lights Festival. Mostly old school Bachmann model trains that were donated many years ago to the NC Arboretum and they didn’t know what to do with them.
Bill Hunteman, Doc Watson, Gary Poague, et. al. and lots of other guys, many of which you may all know. A lot of us are members of the Piedmont Garden Railway Society, the PGRS. Check out the weblink for today’s date to see what the festival is about.
