How do you plan to celebrate National Train Day on Saturday? I plan to have the first section of track track-powered so thgse engines and the battery-powered engines can “fight nice!”

…we went to the “Railroad Days” event at Brea (formerly at the Fullerton Amtrak station) last weekend. 
The North Central Texas All Scale Group [www.nctxas.org ] is going to have our operationg session in the morning and then take DART light rail to Dallas Union Station for the festivities.

When is it? 
by working on my railroad. I have ballest to put down, trees to plant, weeds to pull and sidewalks and roadways to make. There was a population boom this winter and all the new buildings and shops need parking, roadways and such so everyoen can get to them.

I’ll be at the local college, displaying our club’s outdoor model railroad, along with 20 or so others. The occasion is the local garden club’s Mother’s Day plant sale and confab.

I’ll be at my son-in-law’s college graduation. I had to miss Rail Days in Spencer when they got married.
