National Cheeseburger Day

I am amazed that no one has brought this up! It is National Cheeseburger Day, so get out there and consume.

A lot of us don’t have access to green chilies like Boomer, but we can go out and have a good, juicy, ooey gooey cheeseburger. We are meeting the kids at Stewart’s later. That used to be a “Drive-in” chain, but they no longer bring your cheeseburgers out on roller skates.

HAPPY NATIONAL CHEESEBURGER DAY!

Umm… because cheeseburgers have nothing to do with trains?

I did put it under general discussion.

They did use to have milk trains. From that you get cheese. And the beef used to get to the stockyards by train. You get the idea.

And the buns are made from wheat, hauled by boxcar and later covered hoppers. And so on, and so on…

Ha, nice try Lou… (http://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-cool.gif)

On the site, right under “General Forum” is the phrase: "Train related talk that doesn’t fit in another forum. "

Not train related talk.

Do you remember that Bob tried an off-topic forum, and it failed miserably?

Greg

p.s. I like cheeseburgers, but you asked why no one posted about them, my answer was simple, the post does not belong on the forum

hmm…I was waiting for National BACON cheeseburger day…no imposters need apply. Oh, I will TRAIN the bacon!

I stand corrected.

But sit hungry.

ARR! I don’t know anything about National Cheeseburger Day, but tomorrow is International Talk Like A Pirate day.

Are they Narrow Gauge, or Standard Gauge…?

I think I might be missing the point here but I’m slow anyway

The pirates around here are pretty standard.(http://largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-embarassed.gif)

Now there is a thought, Pirates eating cheese burgers instead of raping, pillaging and plundering, Wait a minute that was

Vikings not Pirates, my mistake,

sorry about that

Perhaps you’re thinking of “The Pirates That Don’t Do Anything” or “Lyle the Kindly Viking”?
