National 1:29 Day

For those of us modeling in 1:29 scale- congratulations! 'Cause today is 1/29. A national holiday… It also happens to be my birthday… Coincidence? Well, maybe.

-Kevin.

I understand “National 1:20.3 day” is a “bigger” deal…

And National 1:13.7 Day is an even bigger deal!

Just sayin… :stuck_out_tongue:

Personally, I think National 1:1 is the Biggest deal…

hehehe…

Well. I didn’t know about the 1:29 scale celebrations. But I am more than happy to also join in and celebrate. Lunch has been and gone here but maybe I can persuade Her Ladyship to arrange something for supper.

I must remember not to mention it to the 1:22.5 crew, maybe there time will come soon.

The 1:32 modelers, (The Real Scale) will have a smaller celebration.

Well, now that you mentioned it, those other scales are bigger for sure. So, I think you guys should send me big birthday presents. Except for John Bouck. He’s into 1:32, so his gift can be a little smaller!!! Happy Birthday to me (thanks Noel).

-Kevin

(laughing) Happy Birthday, Kevin

OK why not…Scotch neat with a beer chaser…

Pinky lifted …sip not gulp

Happy Birthday, Kevin. In honor of the occasion, I’ll have a Bourbon, neat, with a beer chaser, just to be different.
