Anyone know of a site that offers PDF’s for download.
Thanks Randy
get the car builder’s encyclopedias on DVD. Plenty of different groups of cars and loco drawings on them and they are able to be made in any scale
I don’t know of any sites like that, but I would sure recommend getting “A Century + Ten of D&RGW Narrow Gauge Freight Cars, 1871 to 1981” by Robert E. Sloan. It has lots of drawings of different types of cars and plenty of pictures of the real thing as well.
My memory is a bit foggy, but didn’t someone on here post a link to a Google on-line book that had tons of drawings in it? I remember downloading it, but can’t recall if it was just locos, or rolling stock too.
Jon Radder said:Jon, your right, it's file name was called ""Popular picture and plan book of railroa(1)"".... It's a .pdf file and is 300 pages long... Contains both engines and rolling stock plans....

I have the .pdf file, but can’t remember where the forum file was…
Popular picture and plan book of railroad cars and locomotives
Thanks Andy & Bruce. I guess the Mad Cow hasn’t taken all the brain cells yet.
…got mine…
Mooooooooooooooo
Thanks Andre on the DVD suggestion, hadn’t thought about that option.
Bruce thanks for mentioning Robert Sloan’s book. Must be good because a couple others PM’ed me to get that book as well.
Unfortunately if ya live north of 49 you can’t view the Popular Picture and Plan Book, something to do with copyright laws or something.
Thanks to everyone.
