Tim, Im interested in how you did your pivots and center framing. Do you have any more construction pictures of the garratt?

Doug, the pivot is simply a bolt (threaded section removed), bonded up from underneath the LGB moulding. The aluminium plate rides on a brass plate that reinforces/secures the upper side of the pivot shank, where it protrudes through the LGB chassis moulding. 0.030" styrene will then be used sandwiched between the brass and aluminium plates to reach desired height/clearance at the pivot join.
