Yet one more newbie question,
looking everywhere for around 30’ long narrow gauge rolling stock,
( 15"s long or so for a indoor layout),
all you out here in large scale land will know if this question can be answered,
Kits or premade info please!!!
thanks in advance
Randy,
Why don’t you look at the 1:24 HLW, Aristo Delton stuff, and the USA Billboard boxcars. It all comes out about 14 to 15 inches coupler to coupler.

And if you’d like a good buy on some of the discontinued Aristo/Delton stuff send me an email for a list. Some used, some NIB. All will handle 2 Ft. radius. They are models of narrow gauge wood cars in 1:24 which you will soon learn is not the “correct” scale for narrow gauge
Randy,
Are you looking for true scale 1:20.3 narrow gauge.
If so, 30’ stuff won’t work too good.
LGB, Bachmann 1:22.5 with talgo mounted couplers will work.
Otherwise, to stay with 1:20.3, you will have to downsize to 20’ or less rolling stock such as shorty flats, etc.
my 30 ft kits run 17.75 inches long. Don’t know if that will make it around your layout or not. Otherwise the shorter 20 ft cats will be what you need. Unless you are content with just hoppers. They run in between those two lengths.
