Large Scale Central

Mysterious Investor in WCNG Country

The Shop crews on the West Virginia and Kentucky NG line got a surprise today from a Mysterious Benefactor from West of the Mississippi in the shape of half a dozen steel three bay hoppers. It was rumored that the cars ere not up to the standards of one Little Chester, and his crew on the LGB Line. What this means for the West Virginny Boys is still unclear. Is this a tax write off for the big wigs in Texas? Or is this the first part of a Hostile takeover from of the East? Is the South gonna rise again? Who was the shooter on the grassy knoll?

Inspection shows that they will require a rewrking o their draft gear before thy can be placed in service, oh and that pesky problem of getting an engine servicable to run the line. Laid off workers are being recalled, and looks like The Shop Foreces are gonna be in full tilt before the End o Spring…

Bart, Check that stuff for “bugs”!

Hot-boxes and faulty brake lines.

Egads…and I was going to offer to buy them from him. But, as some say…there is a silver lining…they went to a good home. That was good of Marvin…he has a good heart as many of us have seen.

Ahhh a thing of beauty~!!! Awaiting upgrading and detailing…

Damn, how come I never get free crap? I must not live right or something…

I'm glad all my crap found good homes. The very last of my 22.5 junk is in classifieds.

Bob was talking about stuff in general. He has not even seen the hopper cars, that you had, other than photos of them. I like the LGB ones and Bart seems to be happy with his Bachmann hoppers.

I dunno. Bart must be mad at them…he had them drawn and quartered

Not only that, he had them re-tarred, too. But there must be a shortage of "feathers".

No problems, I am really glad that my no longer needed stuff found a good home. Thanks.
