I added lighting that will have dimmers and brighter work lights. Also, I moved the sidings to a much easier reach. I am now using the largest area of the platform to build a USMRR storage depot for MOW (rail, bridge trusses and ties) and military materiel (mortars, artillery and livestock). Also, considering a turntable or a three-way wye switch, a warehouse maybe an engine barn, a guard troop camp area. Not all of that will not fit, but you get the idea.
I am also continuing the work on the terracing of the landscape outside later today. Excavating for dry-stack stone retaining walls, back-filling with gravel in landscape fabric and soil, plants and mulch. The total area will be about 50’x 50’.
My home is near an early Jasper quarry, so I may model the non-existent “Jasper Creek Mining Company Rail Road”.
