First thing I had forgotton to resize the picture.
Will read some more.
Rick
I reloaded The Beta 6 version and it works fine. I knew I did somethin’ wrong the first time. Check this angle out. Layout is in the center between the rows of big trees.

Well the code spotted in, lets see if the picture appears when I post. Rick Well, it did work but I am having the same problems with the “files” and so far the “freight shed” sections as are being discussed in another thread. the Files section doesn’t seem to work at all for anything and the Frieght Shed has allowed the picture posting by cut and paste of the URL but can’t delete anything in either one so far. Anyway the railroad is in the upper right as indicated, the shadows make it a little difficult to decypher but remember it is all raised about 36 inches above the ground. Rick
Great pic of your railroad! THX for posting.
Well, I figured out that I can see my layout using Google Maps “satellite” view. I’m not sure how this differs from Google Earth, but anyway, here’s the pic:

Part of the layout is obscured by the new wooden fence at the top of the slope, separating our yard from the neighbor’s. The fence was replaced in August 2009, so I know this pic was shot sometime in late 2009, or possibly early 2010.
Ray,
Under the tab “file”, you can save the picture without all the Google icons, if you want to.
Wow, that’s a nice long run!
