I suggested a future Forney product using their Little Hauler loco with tender as a WW&F loco #7 styled loco for the 1:22.5 and 1:24 market and pointed out that the steam cylinders are too far forward.

I checked today and my post was deleted. Interesting. They can't take constructive suggestions from a long time loyal customer? Maybe Bachmannn large scale will also go the way of Aristo Craft.

Norman,

With tongue very firmly in cheek:

It will show up two or three years down the road. They just don’t want to skew the discussion.

BTW that’s how it usually worked with another LS mfg. Point out the obvious and sooner or later it will click

This has always puzzled me, in the smaller scales the mfgs ask for suggestions, sometimes put up a list of items to choose from and take it from there.

Not only that, I’ve seen magazines do the same thing, ask the readers “what is missing?”. It is a revolutionary concept.

Norman,

That is a real surprise. I have put up some real zingers at Bachmann and not been deleted. Some Bachmann even responded to. I would chalk it up to a glitch rather than a deletion.

Or Bachmann doesn’t want any of their thunder stolen for possible new releases coming soon…

Why not…what the heck I’m in an optimistic mode today.

Obviously, you have overlooked something.

Did I say that out loud?

Yeah, I’m grumpy. My back hurts a bit. Laid in several chords of wood for the winter.

I’ll get over it.

Norman,
some who post regularly on a variety of forums have learned that not all forums play a clean honest game. Controversial postings are often deleted or modified to completely change the tone and message of the forum. Forums that seek a living on advertising dollars are more prone to arm twisting than others.

Therefore, some when posting on topics take a sceenshot for posterity. The recent infamous interview posting on another site is a classic. Caught out, the forum admin deleted in entirety the posting. If it is not there then it NEVER happened!!!

Your posting no doubt was in no way controversial but it got lost. Perhaps intentional perhaps a glitch.
