Large Scale Central

My new Thomas engine on it's way, lol

It’s a little bigger then Bachman claimed on their website though, no wonder shipping was so high

I dont think thats going around your curves, Mark.

I got 18 acres, I can make the track work, now buying track for it, well, send donations

Saw it at Chama NM last summer, quick view, looks real.
They put a diesel in a string of cars, & push it, up & back best I knew.
We did the C & T train, nice but, not near as spectacular as Durango to Silverton.
Chama is not much, Durango Is a neat town.

That my opinion, didn’t cost u any thing?

Aren’t there a few of those that roam the nation?

I know there is one that shows up around NE Ohio but it is a standard gauge loco. If I remember right it is built on an 0-6-0 porter frame. My kid could care less, it’s blue has a face and friendly engineers. Oh yeah and one of those annoying peanut whistles. The kids love it! I have to admit, I find it pretty neat too.

It’s real but usually has a diesel on the end. I was told it’s usually due to the massive amounts of passenger equipment they want it to pull and stop.

Can’t you tell, Thomas is being KIDNAPPED! they’ve but a hood over his face!!!

I might be wrong on this, But I think that the narrow gage (3ft) Thomas is owned by the D&S, It does go to the C&T, for runs there, and also elsewhere ( I thought that it went to Knotts Berry Farm also) and the Huckelberry. Not a lot of places for it to run on. I know that it sets in the back lot at the D&S yard covered in a tarp for most of the year.

EDIT, It’s a blue tarp, naturally.

How do you know I didn’t remove it and well?

God bless all the parents on the road that day that had young kids in their car as they passed this thing!
