Here is a quick video of the 5 skid shacks I recently built for the RR being transported to their Winter home.
Great video, Todd. You did a fantastic job on the shacks. I need to build a few of those myself… one day.
Wow Tod looks very nice, Wow your RR is quite prosperous to have all that new equipment, Hey it all has to start out new somewhere, and I am glad you can
operate a profitable RR, Your dozer looks great too.
Great video, thanks for sharing, very inspiring

Todd,
What is with the intermittent chuffing from that loco? Bad reed switch?
Thanks for the kind words guys. The shacks were a fun and quick project and as you know once the first one is designed and built it is easy to duplicate again and again.
Joe the tender is a self contained system that houses a Sierra board, speaker and battery for the sound. It is not connected electrically to the Heisler so it can be shared with my other steam locos. I have 2 tenders set up this way. My ear isn’t trained toward prototype sounds so for now it is good enough. My 2 truck shay used to share use this tender but this past Spring it was converted to a battery Revo setup with a phoenix board.
