I FINALLY found 30 minutes to run a train today. I’ve had this dash 9 for about a week and had not found time to run it. It’s a really short video, with not much scenery in it… but a coal train.
Great engine! I expected to get one someday not knowing how rare they would become. Great train too!
looks better very time!
great weathering
great layout
great photography
That opening corner makes a nice scene with having the telegraph poles and grade crossing sign since they give it a finished look.
Nice, Matt… (http://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-cool.gif)

Matt, have you ever given any thought to filing a flat spot on a wheel? I am wondering if anyone has done that before.
Pete, I tried it, and I did not get the effect I was looking for. I wanted a car to rock a bit from side to side, but it ended up being more of a wobble instead of a rocking.
Thanks guys!!
Pete, I have not attempted that. I know Mike Dorsch has though.

Yes he has Pete and cousin Matt however not for the reasons Maynard suggested.

If the car’s a rockin’ don’t come a knockin’! (http://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-laughing.gif)
Matt, I found that out a long long time ago when I saw my cousins pickup!! parked off the road near highschool as I was walking home from fourth grade, what a suprise when I looked in the window!.
a couple of hours after I posted the original question I came across one of Mikes videos and could distinctly hear the flatspots on the wheels. As always his details and workmanship is off the charts.
