I found this in a store in the UK and took a good look when I was there in the Fall. It’s live steam, alcohol fired, and I hate alcohol. But I love the look and it will go well with my teak LNER Gresley coaches.
The store had reduced it 5% and offered free shipping. I still had to pay 10% tariffs (Grr.) They did a great job of packing it, although they forgot to empty out the water in the boiler, which soaked some of the packing paper!
That looks beautiful! I cannot wait for the videos!

Someone on MLS asked what it will pull, and here’s the answer:
I bought a set of 3 Comley Gresley Teaks, without a guards/brake coach, so I was looking for a brake. I brought 4 coaches, 3 “part-finished”, back from the UK.
The Comley’s are in the center, looking like new teak! On the right is a Gresley semi-composite, and on the left is a GNR brake that I fixed in a hurry. I also have a Gresley 1st/brake on my bench having new windows added (it has 3mm solid glass, which broke somewhere down the line.) I am planning to add the external beading - Kappler cut me some 1/32nd x 1/16th half-round. The 4th coach is another composite, similar to one of the Comleys, but I only got enough bogies for 3 coaches, so it will have to wait.
