Hopefully the final update on mom. Surgery went excellent, triple bypass, stent was fine so left it. No problem with blood clots. Surgery only lasted 3.5 hours. Surgeon said it was text book and everything else on the heart looked great and no permanent damage was detected. So he believed that she would make a full recovery and feel better than she had in a long time.

When I was in my PA training, I was doing cardiology rounds and observed an elderly woman go from death’s door to, “Come on George, let’s get out of hear, I’ve got washing to do,” all because of a CABG (pronounced cabbage), a Coronary Artery Bypass Graft, all in a matter of a few days. Absolutely amazing. I’m so glad your mom is doing well.
