but what the heck would we do with the trailer when we got close to the hospital!!

What you can’t parallel park it or park it in the parking garage?

I’m pretty sure that Steve has a stick that will solve this problem…(https://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-foot-in-mouth.gif)

Just thought I would let those who have been following along know that I am heading for surgery on the 27th. I have been cleared by all but one doc and I see him Monday and there is nothing to make me think he won’t clear me. The wounds on my belly have finally been taken care of with the last surgery and that is all cleared up and healed up. Blood work, chest X-ray, EKG, and everything else they check me for is good to go. I will be heading over to Seattle on Monday for my appointment and will be visiting Craig Townsend while over there and he has be gracious enough to get me accommodations for a couple of nights until my wife and parents get there on Wednesday. Then surgery that Thursday. Hoping this one goes better than the last one and this is the last surgery I will need.

New guy here Devon, but just want to wish you all the best as you move forward. Thanks for the update!

Rootin’ for ya from Maryland, Dev!

Thanks for the update, and I’m really looking forward to your post-op reports, and hoping & praying for the very best.

Thanks Sam. Long saga but the folks here have been real good to me and concerned. Its like a remote family having all these guys pulling for me.

As long as he gets his cream puffs, his stay will be stress free. Dang, I better go to the store soon and buy stuff to make them.

Amen to that buddy. I pray that you have my luck and you beat this tribulation.

Best of luck, Devon! Rooting for you!

If I understand things correctly for next Tuesday…

Craig’ll be resistance-soldering a brass plow blade while baking cream puffs for a minister who’s about to have another hole drilled in his head for better plumbing to his abdomen.

Sounds like a BBC hit to me!! Here’s the trailer…

"After cleaning the flux, I finished the puffs – to Devon’s satisfaction, I hope. But right about then, the basement door creaked, and the cat said something most unusual. And that’s when I — " [tape cuts abruptly]

Great, I’m cleared to return to my home tomorrow and resume my life.

Doc says my further treatments are; maintenance. Doc Tom explained; I’m 99% cured. But the cells in the last 1% are stubborn fools, but repeated treatments will eventually kill them off.

I’ve lost some function, but as I recover I’m hoping for some repair of that.

Oh no, I’m planning to scratchbuild my own stick. But thanks Steve!

Devon,

I hope you can switch cars while eating a cream puff. I just ran thru a 30-45 min nice and easy switching session using the few tracks I’ve got built in the staging yard. Are you up for the challenge?

I’m hoping and praying for a good outcome and speedy recovery!
