Well it took a while, and a few people to help out along the way, but today we were able to run our Regner Lumberjack for the first time on our own railway!
And, we only caught the train on fire 2 or 3 times… okay, maybe 4 or 5…
But it still worked!

Looks right at home on your railway Vincent. Sounds like you’ll have to ad some water barrels to those nice trestles of yours to put out the fires! The nice thing is that it should run better and better for you as it fully wears in and your skill at firing it improves. Nice pictures.
Looking Good. I hope now that it is running well you enjoy it. Definitely a lot more fiddly than running a sparky, but is just doesn’t get better than this…
