Just beautiful Ray, congratulations! I really like how you build your story for the RR at the beginning, great job.
Beautiful, Ray!
You’ll be inspiring more Dunaking.
Very nice. Great to see Large Scale modeling in MRH. I liked the “back story” very much. Keep up the good works Ray!
Doc Tom
Great article Ray. We already know you are a great modeler. Nice work. (http://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-wink.gif)
Thanks, everyone!
I, too, enjoyed the slow build-up of the backstory, then the gentle trip into the layout. It set the stage for a very believable layout, and as always, great photos really sell the whole thing. Kudos!
Congrats Ray,
I will have to read it. No time now but I have it bookmarked.
Ray,
Just read the article and was lost in the photos. You have done so incredibly much in a rather smallish space. I love the stone arch bridge. I also plan to do a bit of imagineering in that I plan to include a stone arc even though no existed “what if” if I may quote you.
I might have to hit you up for some close ups of the stone arch.
Another favorite was the curve mill building. Just beautiful.
Thanks, Andrew and Devon!
I’ll be happy to provide pics of my stone bridges if you need them.

That project is a ways off. Possibly next year. I will hit you up when the time comes.
Ray, I really enjoyed reading your article. Even more, I’ve enjoyed watching your build, right from your first post.
I just got a chance to look at the article. I really enjoyed it and nice work. Congrats.
OH MY GOSH!!!
Great article! I feel I am amongst the leaders.
Ray, you’re not going to turn into a Big Shot and get too important for us here on the forum are you?
p.s. Great article by the way, not to mention a great layout, inspiring.
And, by the way, the article itself is very well thought out and well written. I like that. Way to go!
I expected nothing less. Great little piece, Ray. Of course you had an interesting subject. (http://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-laughing.gif)
Ray, I hope you have a continuing series of articles… when you get down to the interiors of the buildings and also your weathering details, people will be blown away.
On another note, have you ever thought to put a small spotting scope in your back yard down below to let people view the buildings “close up”, as though they were looking at the real thing? I imagine placed properly it would be pretty cool.
Greg
