I made this Climax A about 15 years ago, had a Stomper drive mech, since converted to Hartland’s small two axle blocks. I made the gondola about the same time. It has Hartford trucks. Simple on-off switch with a 9.6v battery pack under the coal load. The Climax has a DPDT switch in it for direction. I made the figures also. First time I’ve had it out in a few years.
VERY cool. Looks like it was made out of the railroad’s scrap bin. “Hey, look what I found!”
How does it run with one axle off the track?
Looks kewl Jerry. I like the figures!
Very nice, Jerry.
The fellow on the railing must be inspecting the wheel on the ties below…He’s not quite sure how to get it re-railed on the trestle…
Perhaps with enough prayers the friendly 5 fingered crane might appear…
Joe
…grinning…
Since I wasn’t quick enough, I postitulated. (Post it-You Late)
David and Bob snuck in ahead of me, and I hadn’t refreshed my screen before posting.
Am I looking at Shawn’s RR or Jerry’s? Not used to seeing things like that on Jerry’s.

LOL That class A looks cool. I think it would fit in very well on the KMRR.
Good eye guys! I had drug it along the trestle to get that pix, the DPDT switch is pretty touchy. It runs great, I got several hours of running in on one 9.6v pack and it was still going. Those Hartland blocks don’t use much, I guess.
